Meeting was called to order at 6:00, by County Director Bob Harper.
Secretary's and treasurer's report was read and accepted at both meetings.
We didn't discuss much at our April meeting.
Things that were discussed and have taken place. John's ride to the Son's of God biker Sunday.
Due to the weather most of us ended up going in cars. There were a couple of brave ones that took their bikes. We
all had a good time, ate some great food and met some great people.
The first bike show of the season was held in Topsham on April 26.
A vote was made to reimburse Bob for the money spent on the tattoo table at the tattoo show.
All approved.
The bike show was discussed and since this is covering both April and May we have had our bike show.
We had a very cold overcast day for our show. Still we had 27 enries in our bike show and 8 entries in our rodeo. The
CMPTRA held some belt sander drags and had quite a few people trying it out. Our county decided to donate
$ 50.00 dollars to the CMPTRA charity.
Discussion will be held later on possibly changing the date of the bike show and having a rain date
to later in the summer.
Thanks to everyone who helped out at the bike show and a special thanks to Alan Bates for his great
job at emceeing.
Terry from CMPTRA would like tosee if beltsander races could be held at the toy run. This will
be brought before the E-board.
UBM would like to have pictures of anyone wearing UBM products. Give pictures to Bob.
Kevin Baker visited us from the Gold Wing Riders to let us know that they are interested in joining
us on some of our rides. They have a calendar on the computer. It can be found under google calendar.
Waynes Memorial ride was supposed to be Sun the 18th, with everyone meeting at Dino' s
at 9:00.
Do not forget the Thompson Island ride on June 7th.
Also Thunder Rally happening June 6-8th.
The backwoods blackfly bash has been cancelled.
Randy still looking for mileage from everyone for the mileage contest.
The Exiles are having a Memorial Weekend Party in Athens on May30 and 31st. $10.00 per person for admission.
