Old business; Randy Dubay, who is doing the mileage contest needs your mileage if you were in the contest by our next
meeting in December.
A big Thank You to the Dollar Tree stores for their big contribution of toys and many thanks to those who stayed after
the meetings and helped to separate them.
We discussed the beltsander drags. This year we will be adding a class for the kids, to try, called the Jitterbug races.
This will be done with palm sanders and a tilted table.
Flyers should be made up soon for the drags and we will have t-shirts for sale.
We are looking for sponsors for the winning prizes and door prizes. A $25:00 contribution will get your name posted on
the side of the track and on the sponsors banner.
Look for more information about the drags in the next letter coming out next month after our December meeting.
New business:
Wayne Bragg filled us in on the safety seminar that he went to. He said he heard from some very good speakers about many
things.
Some of our legislators were there and tips from them were to remember to be up front and honest with them. Have your
information with you that you wish to talk to them about and alway be respectful.
He also heard from a speaker from the Vertical Outlaws and he had some suggestions on things we should have at our events
that would draw the younger crowd. Visit them at verticaloutlaws.com
Words from the PAC. Studies are being made to see how many states let motorcycles turn left on a red light once it has
cycled through and still has not changed. We all know how frustrating that can be. Also being studied is how the signal lights
in the the road affect motorcycle riders.
To date this year there have been 16 motorcycle fatalities. Mostly new riders.
Next meeting will be December 8. We will be having our Christmas party that night as well. The members voted to put $100.00
toward pizza's. We will also be having our Yankee Swap with the cap on gifts being $20:00 and under. The mangers from the
Dollar Trees and representatives to pick up the toys have also been invited.
Please bring non perishables for people and animals to the next meeting
Thank you to those who honored our veterans by riding in the Veteran's day parade.
There will be a workshop on the beltsander track at Dino's on Saturday November 15th around 9:00-10:00.
