July 2009 meeting minutes

The meeting was called to order at 6:05 by County Director Bob Harper.

Secretary's report and treasurer's reports were read and accepted.

Safety tips for this month:

Ride like you have mechanical brakes.

Watch the attitude you go out and ride with.

Know your the area in which you ride watch for traffic patterns that have changed.

We voted to send UBM their year end money now.

We also voted to buy some of the old T-shirts and to use them at our beltsander drags this coming winter.

The MRF is quiet right at this time and the MMPAC is off for the summer.

The meeting was ended at 7:00.

July 18th Ride to Paris, Maine to check out a private collection of antique cars. If it doesn't rain the ride will be leaving Dino's at 8:30a.m.

July 19th Waynes picnic ride going to Birch point state park down below Thomaston. Ride will be leaving Dino's at 8:30. providing it doesn't rain.

August 1st ride to Big G's in Winslow. Leaving Dino's at 8:30.

Don't forget to the Bucksport Bay Festival on July 25th.

Sam's Club is having a ride on July 18th to help out the Childres Miracle Network. Registration is at 8:00 and the registation fee is $10:00. Leaving Sam's at 9 am going on a 150 mile scenic trip ending back at Sam's for a barbeque.
