A Happy New Year to all.
Our first meeting of the New Year was started at 6:20 by our County director Bob Harper.
Secretary's report and Treasurers reports were read and accepted.
Old Business.
Not much reported for old business.
Mileage contest winners will be annouced at the February meeting by Randy Dubay.
In keeping in touch with the MPAC meetings, as of yet no helmet bill has been introduced and there is talk of a bill
being sponsered to allow motorcycles to turn left at traffic lights that the signal doesn't recognize them being there.
LD 39 is a bill regarding signs for motorcycles and rumble strips. Eric Fuller is monitoring submitted bills. One
of those is changing motorcycle inspections to every other year.
We have had our first 2 beltsander drags for the month of January. We had 78 people through the door for our first one
and 14 racers.
For those of you who ordered t-shirts they are in.
Our first Sunday race we had 58 through the door and 12 racers. Not a bad showing for a Sunday.
One of our members Steve Greenlaw has had a hernia repair. Reports are is that he is doing well.
It was voted on to take our half of the yours and mine from the January 25th races and donate it to Josh, a boy who needs
help in getting his special needs dog trained.
It was voted on to give Carl and Tracy a gift card to thank them for all they do for us.
We received thank you cards from the Indian nations for the toys and a thank you from the Animal Orphanage for our donations
to the animals.
We had 20 members present at this meeting.
