Meeting was called to order by Bob Harper, County Director at 6:00.
Introductions were made, we had 18 members present.
Ann Holmes read the secretary's report and the treasurer's report.Both were accepted.
Old business:
Wayne's memorial ride was reported on. There were about 7 riders and they found a new place to eat called the 45th parallel
in Milbridge.
Report on Thunder Rally. The weather cleared off Fri nght. They had Karoke, bonfires, pig roast and one game.
Report on the memorial ride for Ted Kimball and Wayne Gray. There were about 230-240 bikes. The ride went from
the Brewer Auditorium to the Exiles Clubhouse. The pastor for the Sons of God did the ceremony.
Report on the Thompson Island ride. There were around 55 bikes for the ride this year. Started at Thompson Island went
to Northeast Harbor up through Acadia into Bar Harbor and on to Hancock ending at Hancock Indian and Victory. The 50/50
ended up being $96.00.
New Business:
Not much for new business. Reminders
Nicky's bike nights have started back up, every Tues night weather permitting.
Friend and Friend Orono, bike night the third Thurs of the month with a rain date on the fourth Thurs. down behind the
Sea Dog starting at 6:00 pm.
Friend and Friend Ellsworth bike night the first Thurs of every month with rain date the second Thurs of the month at
Jordan Snack bar.
Not much to report from the MRF or the Road safety group. Things are pretty quiet right now.
Rumble strips will now only be 5/8 to 1/2 inch deep.
