Treasurer's report was read and accepted.

Old Business:

Toy run was discussed. Suggestions for next year

They are looking for less stuffed toys.
Possibility of more volunteers,
By count each county received between 410-490 toys this year.

Sandy Mckeon has been in touch with the dollar tree stores and they are going to have donation box set up to get more toys donated to help out with the shortage we had do to the rain at the toy run. Way to got Sandy,

New Business;

A few of us went to the educational seminar in Augusta. Discussion was about the right of way. And Matt Dunlap, Secretary of State filled us in on the legislature process.

We also found out that there are 66,000 registered motorcycles in the state of Maine, and only about half of them are inspected. This could cause a problem down the road and we may end up having to put those stickers on our bikes so that they can be visibly seen.

To area reps. Remember to fill in the blanks at the bottom and to sign or print your name so that it is readable.

MMPAC was discussed. MMPAC is an arm of UBM. They meet the third Sunday of every month. 1-3:00 at Dino's. They can lobby for motorcyclists rights.
UBM has received a 100,000.00$ grant to promote motorcycle safety. Let's see how they let us spend it this year.

Biker Down fund. Each county has a contact for Biker Down. The contact for Penobscot county is Sandy Mckeon. The fund has about $6400.00 in it. If you know someone who is a member of UBM and has been in  a motorcycle accident contact Sandy and she will contact them and they will see what they can help you out with.
We will be doing a fund raiser with one of our 50/50 at one of our beltsander drags this winter.

Speaking of the beltsander drags. The committee is going to start working on this soon. The committee is made up of Alan Bates, Lisa Bates, Eric Brayman, and Dale Holmes. More on the drags to come later.

Mileage contest ends in December. See Vic and Randy.

Lastly for this meeting there is a pot luck get together at Val and Arts.
